Sound issues when publishing course

Hello,

I'm experiencing sound issues when i publish the course in Review 360. The sounds work perfectly fine in preview mode but once i publish the course i can't hear anything anymore.

I can't change the default browser ( Microsoft Edge ) because it is determined by the organization I work for.

I've tried as well the web version ( html) but everytime i send the link to the users they can't access it.

What should i do ?

  • Myriam,

I published to Review 360 and tested on Chrome and Edge. The audio sounded good to me. Perhaps someone else can give it a try and see what they hear.

I gave it to a friend to test it and she experienced the same issue.

  • Hi Myriam,

Thanks so much for reaching out! Sorry to hear you're having audio issues when you publish your course to Review 360. Thanks so much for including your .story file in your original post!

I've opened up your .story file and tested this on my end. I was able to publish your file to Review 360. I'm able to hear the audio on my end when without issues using my Edge browser.

Could you please take a look at my review link to see if you are able to hear the audio within my published version on your computer:

    Test voice over | Review 360 (articulate.com)

Please let me know if you are able to hear the audio on your end. Fingers crossed! 🤞

Quick question while we're testing that out on your end:

    • Have you tried inserting a new version of the audio file within your course and then attempting to publish to Review 360? I'd like to troubleshoot all possibilities!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

      Hello,

Thank you for your reply ! :)

I still can't hear the audio. Could it be related to the fact that i have to update to the latest version of Articulate ? I honestly don't know what the problem is.

I did try before to delete and insert a new version but it's always the same problem.

        Hi Myriam,

Let's try a different approach so we can confirm if the issue is browser related. Would you mind sharing the Review 360 link to your project that has no audio so we can test on our end if we will be able to hear anything? If we hear audio when we test your course, there's a chance that something might be blocking the audio from playing on your computer. This could be a security or group policy that is being enforced by your organization.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
