Start Course Button action empty for screen reader

In Rise the Start course – button - for the screen reader they use the start course button action seems to be empty, means there should be an action behind it, so that the screen reader can read it....

Yes. I had the same issue. We use NVDA and JAWS.

Hi there, Suziana,

The Start Course on a course overview page does look like a button visually, but it's technically a link. JAWS announces it as "Same page link: Start Course." NVDA announces it as "Link: Start Course," or "Start Course: Link" if you tab to it.

    Thank you for this. I'll input in my accessibility check list. I have now a master copy which I hope can pass WCAG Level 2AA.

    There is a huge demand for Articulate courses which comply with WCAG Level 2AA. Let me know if you are interested to check this (confidentially) from your end.
