Starting and Stopping Audio

Try adding a Continue Block just above the Storyline block. That will prevent the Storyline file from playing until the user clicks the continue button.
Another option is to add a new slide to the beginning of the Storyline block that does not contain audio or video. You can even add a custom "Play" button on that introductory slide that will allow learners to play the audio when they're ready.
Let me know if one of those options will work for you!
The option to add a slide before the interactive slide worked as a resolution to my issue.
