Storyline - Corrupt File

Hi.

I need to rebuild a .story assessment built in a earlier version of Storyline. (Built in 2016 I believe.)

Attached is a sample of the error message.

I have tried to:

  • Open the file directly
  • Open Storyline then open the file
  • Import slides from Storyline

I have 3 versions of the old .story file. No luck using any approach on any of the files.

Any suggestions?

    Hi Michael, 

    Sorry to hear about your project files. While I can't guarantee that I'll be able to restore them, I'd like to take a look at your project files to see if there's a chance to recover the content. Would you be willing to share them with us here or in private through a support case? 

    On the topic of file corruption, you can check out this article which explains how you can reduce the risk of it happening in your project files.
