Hey Wendy, thank you for the helpful suggestion. This actually works. Only thing, is there a way to make the circle marker/s smaller?

unfortunately not - they are set at a default size of 28 x 28 pixels. That's why I mentioned it might not be ideal. I tried putting a donut shape over it coloured in black to try and blend with the background but because the pulse animation surrounds the marker it shows up just as large. Sorry...its been a feature request to be able to resize markers for a long time.
