Storyline - Slides set to Advance by User are Automatically Advancing

I have several slides that are automatically advancing even though I have my properties set to "Advance by User" and the only Jump to Slide triggers I have are "jump to x slide when user cl...
Without seeing the file, it's hard to diagnose. Here are the usual culprits:
Have you checked
- triggers - 'jump to next slide when timeline ends'
- master slides - (if you are using them) advance when timeline end triggers
- layers - advance when timeline end triggers
- slide properties 'advance automatically' is not selected.
