Storyline 3 (Text in tables - unable to insert hyperlinks)
As stated in the title, I create a table, type text into the cells and afterwards I highlight the text in one single cell with the intent to add a hyperlink, the hyperlink icon is greyed out - is this not an option?

I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
Same. Would definitely want to see this feature sooner rather than later. Not sure why it hasn't been added yet. Seems like a simple thing to do that's requiring a lot of us to either give up or create additional work by creating work arounds when it should be a simple thing. Mark me as up-voting this suggestion.
Adding myself to this too, to see when/if hyperlink capability gets added for tables. It would be ideal to have hyperlinks available wherever text is.

I desperately expect that I can change states or add triggers for individual cells in tables. It is very helpful when we want to make our lesson more interesting
Three years later and still no hyperlinks in table cells. Hotspots do not work in my situation. Now I heve to built my table with seperate boxes.

Just ran into this "simplest" feature... oh wait, it "should be" a simple feature from Articulate that they can't make it a feature. It's unfortunate.
Was surprised to see that this was even something I had to look into HOW TO DO as this just a given in every other program I work with. Very disappointed that this basic feature doesn't exist 4 years after initial suggestion. I'm at a loss of what I'm going to do as I was hoping to use a table inside a scrolling box as a major resource page to link back to specific pages in a course and external sites. I can do this in word, adobe, powerpoint--but apparently not Storyline?

It's a pity that this functionality hasn't been added yet. The workaround for linking 20+ rows of textboxes and making them look like a table takes a long time.
Is there any other solution besides textbox hyperlinks?
I import the table and then create a hot spot surrounding the word that is a 'hyperlink'. Add jump to slide trigger. Copy, paste, update trigger on next one. It's crazy that I even have to do this still after 5 years of requests.
