Storyline 360 - images not rotated on publish
Sorry for the delay - it was a few days before I could get back to these projects. Yes, the same thing happens when publishing to web and when previewing in Storyline. It's not the same images nor do they have a similar source. In one project (completely separate from the images I've shared attached), the rotated images were actually exported from one Storyline project and imported into a brand new project. Even then the images randomly rotated a different direction.
In the image, you'll see one example where this is happening in a marker. I inserted an image and then added 90 degree rotation to it. When published it's rotated back to the original but the orientation is still as if it were vertical (90 degrees). To be clear though -it's also happening when I just insert an image on a slide and rotate it. It's not just markers. Again, randomly and in multiple projects that have no correlation at all.
In case it's helpful, Storyline version is v3.100.34725.0

Hi LeahHemeon,
Thanks for the additional information. I tried to replicate the issue as best I could, but I was unable to observe any issues after rotating images inside markers using a similar setup.
The answer may lie with the images you used in your project. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

perhaps a similar problem with the rotation metadata in images
Crop tool in Storyline 360 is not working correctly | Articulate - Community
you could try to remove the image metadata and reimport the image into storyline
