Storyline 360 record screen sizing issues
So I'm doing a software simulation and did a screen recording. I inserted the recording and in broke it into slides and I went to work editing hotspots, changing hint layers, etc. At some point (and I have no idea when/why), most of my slides now have a big margin around the imported images. The first two slides take up the full screen as needed but I'm not sure why the others aren't.
When I import the original recording to a new scene, they all take up the full slide as they should, but I already have several hours work in the first scene and don't want to redo them. Plus I want to know what happened/how to fix in case it happens in the future. I'm attaching a screenshot of a "correct" slide and an "incorrect" slide. Any ideas?
Hi John,
So sorry about this snag, and I appreciate your efforts with the project so far!
We can start the troubleshooting by checking if you're working on your local drive; working on a network drive can cause erratic behavior. If the problem still happens, try running these steps to repair Storyline.
We'd be glad to investigate further if the issue persists. You may share your Storyline project in a support case so our Support Engineers can take a look!

Doing a clean install had no effect. Issue still persists.
Hi John,
Thanks for trying those troubleshooting steps! I see that you’ve reached out to our Support Engineers and are working with my teammate, Philam. You’re in great hands! We’ll continue the conversation in your support case.
