Storyline asks for sign-in

I am facing challenge with sign in to my account and also I am unable to connect with Support. I am already signed in to my articulate 360 account and its showing signed in but whenever I open a story file it ask me to sign in, and if I click on sign it take me to articulate 360 where I already signed in.

  • I had that issue this morning and Michael from online chat resolved it for me this morning immediately

  • Hello, Yves and Gail! Hope that you're both having a great start to your week! 🎉

    Yves, I'm happy to help!

    First, can you close the Articulate 360 desktop app (click on the red X and then head over to the system tray. There, right-click on the Articulate logo and select Quit).

    After that, please restart the machine and then try signing in again.

    Also, this article describes the reasons why signing in could fail and how to solve them.

    I'd also like to share the workaround steps my colleague shared with Gail earlier in case that will be helpful!

    Please do the following to check and reset the application (this requires admin access to your machine, please seek help from your local IT if you do not have admin access):

    1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del keys) and end process all 360 services,
    namely:

    * Articulate 360 Desktop services
    * Articulate 360 Desktop App

    2. Open file explorer on Windows and open the following directory:

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local

    Or type %localappdata% in the address bar

    3.Delete the following folders:

    *Articulate
    *Articulate_Global,_Inc
    *Articulate_Global,_LLC

    4. Run the Articulate 360 Desktop app and sign in.

    Gail, I'm so glad to hear that you're back in business this morning after speaking on chat with my colleague!

    If any other questions or discoveries come up for you both, please let us know in this thread. We're happy to help!

    Have a great day and happy developing!
