Storyline bug: Audio files getting "mixed up" !
Hi everyone,
Just checking in to see if there have been any updates on this issue. We're still experiencing the same audio problems,
either the beginning of the audio doesn't play unless we replay it after completion, or sections are overlapping.
This happens both on the review link and in the final SCORM export.
If anyone has found a workaround or fix, we’d really appreciate your help!
Thanks in advance!
Hello NewLeafTech,
Thanks for reaching out! Do any of your audio files have the same file name? I'm also curious if you experience this when previewing your course in Storyline.
It would be helpful to test your project file. You can share your .story file in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Been a while since this post came up, but I have experienced the same problem for some time now (1-2 years). It can suddenly appear in a course. The latset one I'm working on right now I use Text-to-speach and they will be named with 1 all of them. That migt be an issue. But that should Storyline take care of as it's not uncommon to use.
My solution is to export the sound file and give it a specific name but even though it sometimes mixes up with other files.
In the text to speach I see the correct text, but the soundfile changes to some random taken from another slide in the course. I'v talked to others who uses Storyline that never experienced thsi issue. I'm using 60 with the latset update- LucianaPiazza2 days agoStaff

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this swapping behavior with your audio files in Storyline! I'd like our team to take a closer look at your setup. I've gone ahead and opened a support case on your behalf.
We'll continue the conversation over in your case, so everything is in one spot!
