Storyline Can't Find Project
New User. Last Thursday I created a simple four slide test project. It would always appear in "Recent Projects." Today it does not. When I click on "Browse for more" the project folder appears but nowhere in any subfolders does the filename.story.html file appear.
I did publish the project for the web and that folder appears in "Documents/My Articulate Projects" folder but nothing resembling filename.story.html appears in any subfolder. (The show was successfully loaded onto Google Cloud.)
When I use Windows File Explore and search *.story, the filename.story.html file appears. When I double-click on the filename, the project open in the Player. When I go back to Storyline/Browse for more... it is not there.
Why doesn't Storyline see my project?
(This is the second time I have published this post. The first one shows no content and does not appear on the discussion page.)

has it be renamed you shouldn't have filename.story.html, it should be filename.story
Is it possible you didn't save it? Not being in recent docs points to this.
Hi FrankKarns!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble locating your Storyline project!
Glad to see Phil has been helping you. I'd also like to suggest checking your Windows Temp Folder, for a working backup copy of your file. Here's how:
- Open this folder in Windows Explorer: %appdata%\Articulate\Storyline
- Scan the contents of this folder for a .story file.
- If you find the file, copy it to your desktop (if you find more than one, copy the latest version).
- Change the file extension of the copy on your desktop from *.tmp to *.story.
- Double-click the file to open it in Storyline.
