Storyline feels... old
Why hasn't Storyline had an overhaul recently?
It is 7-year old software that feels poorly optimized, low-res, and with frustrating moments of lag that have me misplacing objects, selecting the wrong objects, and slowing down productivity.
I use Adobe's Creative Cloud in my work and I have a far better experience using those tools. Much smoother, more responsive, higher-res, etc, etc.
I know this isn't a constructive question, but I'd personally LOVE to keep using this software if it makes significant improvements. Does anyone else have similar experiences?

Things like this are really hampering productivity. To troubleshoot and fix these bugs will take anywhere between 15 mins to a full hour.

Thank you for the video. It looks like possible formatting options might be causing some of the behavior you're experiencing with your text. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can take a closer look at what's happening? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

I am having the same problem with the lag time. When selecting an object, it can take 2-3 seconds before the object selects and when I drag it to a new location it can take several seconds for it to appear in that new location and if the new location is not where I want it, I have to go through the lagging process again. The same thing is true when adjusting things on the timeline. This is causing a lot of delay in the project. I have been noticing this problem since last week.

With the tight deadlines and level of quality that's expected on my projects, I cannot be dealing with these lag issues and bugs. It is extremely frustrating and I have reported these concerns to management.

Any update on updating Storyline? I am constantly running into lag issues that is impeding my productivity on a tight deadline. All other software I'm using (including Microsoft and Adobe Creative Cloud products) is running fine.
