Hello everyone,
Looking for some help/advice on publishing my Storyline project to Word. Currently when I try to publish to Word I am getting the error message The folder ... is read-only, being used by another process or you do not have the proper security permission to access this resource. I have tried to save to my desktop and ensured there are no spaces at the end of the title and still no luck. Any other thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks!
Hi Maggie, the latest Storyline build doesn't seem to have any problems publishing to Word here, so that makes me think it's one of these things:
1. Your Word installation is on a Network drive/Intranet
2. Your Storyline project references media/assets on a Shared folder, One drive, etc
3. Your Storyline project contains protected media/links in its content.
Might it be any of those?
I've had this issue, but only on random courses. Zero consistency.
Have you tried with a 'dummy' course? i.e. one with just a few slides in, to see if it works for that as well? It might be the course you are doing this for has a bug.
