Storyline not recording microphone
Nope, doesn't do the trick and the screen shots in that tutorial seem to be out of date for windows 10.
the odd thing is it recognizes it for doing just an audio from mic recording but not with the screen recording part.

I have been having this same issue for quite some time. On screen record and mic recording, the audio comes out really faint even when turning the volume on high. As a work around unfortunately, I started using the text-to-speech insert.

Hi Jason,
Sorry to hear that you ran into this issue.
I'd like to ask a few questions to clarify your experience:
- Are you using an external microphone or a connected device with a built-in microphone?
- Does your computer have a built-in microphone that you can use for testing?
- Is your device getting properly recognized by Storyline 360?
- Have you tried repairing your Storyline 360 installation to see if this fixes the issue?
If repairing Storyline 360 or switching microphones doesn't fix the issue, please open a case with our support team here to connect with a support engineer who can help check why your microphone isn't working properly.
