Storyline only playing first slide, will not advance to next slides

Good Morning,

I have built a SL module using a template from an Articulate user submitted one.  When I preview the entire project, it works great.  But when I publish to Preview 360, it only plays the first slide, no user interaction works.  What should happen is when  the user clicks on a button from the main menu, it should take them to a new slide, which is not happening.

  • Hello, Katie.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your .story file!

I published your file to Review 360, and I noticed the exact behavior you described, so I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf. You should hear from our team soon via e-mail.

  • Hi Maria.

    Thanks for filing the case.

    Hi Katie.

Importing it to a new project file will do the trick. Please check your email for my case response.

    Thanks! :)

      Hi,

I'm having the same issue where the first slide is the only one that is in the video, and the next / previous buttons are not visible. Are you able to send through some steps I can try, please? Unfortunately I'm not able to share the file online.

      Thank you!

        Hi CarolinaW

Thanks for reaching out! I understand that you're having the same issue with the next and previous buttons not being visible.

Here are the steps my colleague fanniemay_alba shared so you can follow to import your current project file into a new .story file:

        1. Open a new Storyline project file.
        2. Go to the File tab, select Import, and click Storyline.
        3. Browse to the Storyline file you want to import and click Open.
        4. Select the slides you want to import from the displayed thumbnails.
        5. Choose where the imported slides should appear using the Insert into scene drop-down.
        6. Click Import to finish.

Let me know how it goes!
