For use on an intranet (or the internet), publish for the web. Here's the User Guide info on that: Storyline 360: Publishing a Course for Web Distribution | Articulate - Community
You can zip the files if that makes them easier to transfer to the IT folks. However, the unzipped set of files should be uploaded to the web server. At the highest level, the files will look something like this:
Launch the course from the story.html file. The full URL is determined by the location on your company's servers.
