I had a similar situation. I just save screen shorts from the iPad and put hotspots or text boxes. I took a lot longer to do, but the learner got the interaction.

Thanks Eric, yeah I think this will have to be my solution, unless anyone knows of some method of importing a screen recording and it behaving the same way as it would had it been recorded in Storyline
