Storyline running extremely slow
I'm also having issues with Storyline 360 running very slowly, particularly if I happen to be doing anything with the notes pane, whether it is in situ in the main window, or if it is running as a pop up. It is remarkably laggy. This is a particular problem on my current project because I am using neural voices to provide VO, so a lot of editing in the notes section.
I'm experiencing this exact issue and came to the community to see if anyone else was. Editing in the Notes section is tedious and so slow it's frustrating.

The solution I found for this issue was to start a new presentation with a new theme and media library. I had been building new presentations from older ones, and the media library was bloated with old images and content. So now I created a standard theme and everytime I create a new project I reload the standard theme and build slides from scratch or import a handful of slides

Hi LemarchandNicol,
Sorry to hear about your experience. I'm happy to help!
I'm curious if the behavior happens because of the presence of multiple media files in your project similar to what Jeremy experienced. Does it happen to only to a particular file or is it happening in all your Storyline courses?
If it happens to all courses and you're already working on your local drive, try running these steps to fix possible installation issues. Let me know how it goes, and I'll be more than happy to assist further.
