Storyline slide works perfectly in Storyline, but does not function when imported to Rise
Hi Heroes!
I've created a Storyline that is a number of likert siding scales which add the variable to a total. When the user clicks a button, this total is divided by 15 to give them a final score.
This works perfectly in Storyline when I preview it. In fact there are two sets and they both work perfect.
However, when I import it to Rise (or even as a web page, which I tried once) the button no longer divides. Instead, clicking the button causes the total to appear undivided.
Any ideas what might be causing this?
Attached is the Story file
Thanks very much!
Hello,
Thanks for reaching out!
I compared the results of the score that is shown when the course is previewed in Storyline 360 versus the score that is shown when the course is embedded in Rise 360 and they appear to be the same.
Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the slider positions that I can use to be able to observe the behavior on my end?
If you'd like to test the course that I used to verify my results, you can check out this sample Rise 360 course.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Joe
Thanks so much for getting back to me on this, and so swiftly too!
Here is an image of it working as intended in Storyline Preview mode;

And here is an imagine of it not working as intended, despite being in the same slider locations in Rise. This was actually my result from using your test course..

Weirdly, it's different again in our own course...

But!! More bizarrely still.. if I hold Ctrl + scroll down to zoom out while looking at the results, the scores update to this:

As it works for you I'm leaning towards thinking this is perhaps a setting in Chrome, or the fact it's a very tall storyline, might mean it's only reading what's on the page, not the entire thing? But honestly, I've no idea. Thanks so much again for your help!
Cheers

your uploaded screenshots are missing
I had a look intro your file, the are two errors
- remove the shadow from the both result values (there is a refresh error in storyline with variable output and shadow - output is cropped)
- move "Button 2" the trigger "divide ..." from the first to the last position
