Storyline Text Style Defined
Hello everyone,
Happy to share that we've just released a new update for Storyline 360!
In Build 3.106.35838.0 we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- The accessibility checker incorrectly reported missing text styles on slide master layouts even when they were already applied.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Hi running version 3.111.36326.0 and still appears to be an issue the the text styles. I have a blank slide with two items, no text on the master, and it's stating the text styles need defined??
From what I've seen, the checker seems to want an H1 heading on every slide, because that indicates the slide's title. For accessibility, slides should have titles.
Here's what I do for the Master Blank layout: Add a Title placeholder with the H1 style. Move it above the top of the slide, where it won't be visible when someone looks at the slide.
This is also handy because the Title placeholder is connected to the Slide Title field that appears under the slide's thumbnail in the Scenes panel. It's much easier to add/edit the text in the Title placeholder instead of the field.
