Storyline voice with triggers question
Hello, I am new to Storyline and enjoying the learning. I have created a new onboarding learning for my organization. On one slide, I have an introduction to our performance management process. I've used AI voice to do the introduction to it. I created icons that when clicked on explain each of our performance ratings and I've also add AI generated voice to play. I am trying to figure out my trigger so the voice only plays when they click on the performance rating icon. I've set up the voice, and in my triggers done what you see below.
I cannot figure out what I am not doing or doing wrong so the voice only plays when they click on the icon. I would welcome any insight. Thank you so much.
Perhaps make each voice action a separate layer. Click the trigger-object and "show" the layer. If you want it to be playable again, "hide" (close) the layer after it plays.
Also, rather than using the default marker colors, use your company's colors for branding.

Also, if you don't want the little dialog boxes to pop up with each marker click, put a hotspot over each marker. When the user clicks the hotspot, show the appropriate layer (audio).

Thank you, Russ. I want to dialog boxes to pop-up with voice. Thank you for the suggestions. I appreciate your comment about the company colors as I did use our colors for the icons.

Is the problem with the voices overlapping? If so, use a button set that allows only one icon to be active at a time.
Cheers,
Julie

Hi Julie, thank you. I got that figured out. What I am trying to do now is figure out the correct trigger so that once they click on the icon and hear the AI voice, the icon dissappears (got to that point) and the key words in the bubble appear on the screen. I am hoping if I group them that will solve it.

If it is overlapping audio put it on separate layers as Russ suggests. If you dont want the Marker dialogue set it to audio only

Ah, audio only. Good tip.
