Storyline won't let me publish my file -
the error reads - folder is read-only or being used by another process or you don't have proper permissions?
this has not happened before.

Hi Leah,
I'm sorry you're having a publishing issue! Can you verify if your file is saved on your local drive? Here are a few tips you can try:
- Save a copy of the file to your desktop and rename the file. Then try to open it.
- Next, open a blank project file, then choose File->Import->Storyline to import the slides. Then try to open it.
If this doesn't fix the issue, please get in touch with our support engineers by opening a support case.

For reference, here is the error message I saw when I had this problem:
I suggest that this issue and its solution be shared amongst the staff, because it's bound to keep happening. It'll save you time if you have a standard response ready that directly addresses this problem.
