Suggest me good online course for eLearning development ( PRACTICAL) preferred

I have been a graphic designer stepping into to e-learning field. so, please someone suggest a practical online course for E-learning development to start from scratch.

  • Hi,

    Welcome to the field!

I started taking courses via the University of California-Irvine as part of the eLearning Instructional Design certificate which is what led me to download a trial of Articulate 360. My background is in higher education, but I was always pretty intrigued by eLearning design and development. I've enjoyed all the courses and plan to earn the certificate this summer.

I would highly recommend downloading the 60 day trial of Articulate 360 and working through the webinars which is what I did. I would follow along with the webinars step by step (it took a lot of time, but I had a blast!) and I found it invaluable.  Also, once you have the trial you can follow Tom's blog which also has great tips and tutorials regarding eLearning development. Tom often shares how to design things via PowerPoint too.

Finally, I know that @davidanderson leads a course via Linkedin that seems to be very comprehensive and people love it! I've asked my company to purchase Linkedin learning and I plan to take it too.

I hope this is helpful. Good luck on your journey!

  • Hi Maden and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! 🙂 Kandice shared some helpful advice! I just wanted to chime in to let you know about our training partner, Yukon. They offer personalized training if you're interested. You can find more information on the training page of our website. I hope that helps!

  • I'd look up how they cover social engineering in IT security courses.

One thing that would mention is this training should teach a mindset and skill set.  Attacks rarely come from just one source.  They can be very good and convincing.  I worked for a government agency a few years ago where we were faced with an attack that captured the verisimilitude of a government email, just the right amount of boring and acronyms to lower peoples guard and get them to sign into a fake site that would harvest their access.

As a start you might look into the educational content to help security certification's like the CompTIA secuirty+

For me, it would be best in Coursera and skill share which is Most related to graphic designing.
