Table in Rise 360 - no toolbar

I had this same problem yesterday. When I tried to select multiple cells, the table formatting toolbar would appear VERY briefly and then switch to the text formatting toolbar. Using Firefox as a browser solved the problem. Having to use a different browser for Rise 360 isn't ideal but it works.

Thanks for reaching out! I see that DavidMaddocks-f shared a helpful article on formatting tables for your reference! 

I want to confirm that the toolbar is expected to shift  depending on what you select in your Table Block. Selecting the text in a table cell will bring up the main toolbar. When you select cells with the shift/arrow keys or with a mouse drag it will bring up the table toolbar. 

  • You mentioned that you are seeing the toolbar change from the formatting toolbar to the text toolbar in your table block in one browser but not in Firefox. What keyboard functionality are you using to select multiple cells? 
  • I understand Firefox is behaving differently than your main browser when selecting multiple cells. What browser are you currently seeing this in? Do you notice a change if you clear your browser's cache?


It would be helpful to see a screen recording of this change in toolbars to understand your situation further. Feel free to share in this thread or privately in a support case.
