Tabs disappear after I delete a slide?

I'm working on a project where it makes sense for me to copy and paste slides from one module to a different one frequently. The main reason is that I changed a lot of things on the layo...
Following the thread in case there are any updates; I'm having the same issue with tabs closing themselves after a slide is deleted. And yes, I am running the latest update of SL2, am working locally, have reinstalled and repaired, etc etc.
