Text box - double clicking to edit not working
Is anyone else experiencing issues editing text boxes? When I double-click a text box, it shows the resizing handles but doesn’t allow me to edit the text. This started yesterday.
The only workaround I’ve found is to right-click the text box and select Edit Text, which is much slower.
Has anyone else seen this, and is there a fix?

Double- clicking a text box to edit is not really a feature in SL. Text editing depends on where you "click". Selecting the edge of the shape or text box selects the object. Selecting the inside of the shape or text box engages the text editor.
If that is not working as expected, there may be other issues happening that is impacting SL. Are you working on your local C: drive?

Work is being saved on my local drive.
Try restarting the app or clearing the cache. Alternatively, use - Edit text until the problem is fixed.
The issue was that the text box was too small. Once I enlarged the box, a double-click allowed me in.
