Thai language in Storyline
Hello!
I am having a hard time with Thai and Hindi languages in Storyline 360. The fonts do not display properly (upper tone marks disappear in Thai). When I developed Thai and Hindi projects in Stroryline 2 everything was fine. However, the new version of Storyline employs html5 format which has never worked properly with these languages. I tried publishing "flash only", it did not solve the problem. It does not seem like there is a way to convert A360 file into Storyline 2? What can I do?
Thanks!
An update: I tested my old Thai files from Storyline 2 converted into A360, and they get messed up, both html and html5 do not display characters properly anymore.

Hi there, Vera. I can see what you're saying-- those upper tone marks seem to be getting squished down on top of the marks over the characters. Is this happening after importing a translation? Do you see this in both Preview and published output?
We would love to be able to help you out with this. Can you submit a case to our support engineers and attach your file? Let us know what font you're using as well so that we can try to replicate your setup. Thank you for reaching out!

Hi Crystal,
Thank you for getting back to me!
This only occurs in a published project. The font displays correctly when
working in Storyline. I will submit one of the older projects which was
previously published in Storyline 2, so you can compare the performance of
it with that of the updated version. Thanks!

Sounds good, Vera. We'll be happy to follow along with your case for the outcome and update the forums accordingly, too, if you would like to drop the case number in here once you submit.
Thanks again for the information!

Hi Crystal,
Sorry it took me long, I had to switch to other projects. But here I am
back with the Thai problem. This time I had to make some changes in my old
SL2 Thai files. I opened it in SL2, and it seems like having SL360
installed on my computer affected how the old files display fonts – my
layout got totally messed up and symbols don't display properly. The font
is Arial Unicode. I had to make one little change, now it looks like I have
to redo the entire course :(
Please see my case: 01019243
Attached are the screenshots – how it looked before (SL2 published version)
and how it looks now when I open the same storyline source.Thank you!

Hello Crystal,
I have been working on a Thai course as well and have the exact same issue. I use Storyline360, and while in the course the translation import works great, when I preview OR export the course, the upper tone marks disappear. I have tried numerous fonts, but without success. I can see that this has been an issue for over a year now, has it been addressed in any way?
