HTML5 content for Storyline 2 is supported in Chrome and Safari on desktop as you'll see here in the viewing requirements. So it could be connected to trying to view the HTML5 output in those browsers? Can you see if the problematic browsers will play it back in Flash too?
SCORM Cloud is always another good testing option to determine if there is an issue in the LMS too.
