Trying to Add Immediate Feedback to Drag and Drop Slide
I'm trying to add immediate feedback to my slide 1.25 Assessment Slide in Storyline. I want the user to get feedback after every answer choice they drag to the Helpful/Unhelpful categories.
I'm not sure how to do this. I have triggers to show the correct/incorrect layer when users drag a rectangle to either the red or green rectangle, but it isn't working.
Any ideas where I might be going wrong?
I don't see that slide in the file you shared.
You could try using the drop correct/incorrect states to provide feedback rather than using a trigger. Enable that by creating those states and adding your feedback in the state. And then in the drag and drop options deselect delay item drop states so that you get immediate feedback.

It should be Slide 1.25 called Assessment. It shows on my end when I open the file. I'm a little confused about how to use the states to give immediate feedback. I know how to add states, but would I need to use a trigger to make the states occur?
I think I may have uploaded the wrong version of my project. Can you help me with this new version?

Elizabeth,
I found the old version, and worked on it . I made slide 1.3 and 1.11 into Drag and Drop slides. 1.3 uses states to show feedback, and 1.11 uses layers (which you had already started on 1.11)
I think layers is easier, but some people have reasons for preferring states. I did make the states pretty elaborate, adding text and graphics. Do that while editing the states.
You don't need a trigger for "Drop Correct" and "Drop Incorrect" states. If an object has them, it will change automatically if you set them in the Drag and Drop options. Go to Question Tools, choose Drag and Drop options, and deselect "Delay item ..."
