Turn off/on captions

Hi, For my project I dont' want to use the player. So I created a CC button to turn on the the AI generated captions. However I can't turn them off again. A tutorial I was following said ...

    Click on Set and then select Toggle.

    ShaunakS​ Yes, MichaelHinze​ is absolutely right, with the toggle function of this type of TRUE/FALSE variable without the if and if not conditions. I wanted to be explanatory... and he was more effective.
