Updating text entry variables on a different scene

I am creating a course where I capture biographic information about the learner (first name, last name, place of business) using text entry boxes in one scene (call it Scene1). I would like to then transmit that to my LMS as a survey quiz result.  

Up to this point, I have created the survey quiz text entry boxes in a separate scene (call it Scene2) that I would like to then submit the Results slide at the end of the course.  However, I am having a difficult time updating the survey quiz text entry boxes in Scene2 since there is no way (that I know of) to update a text entry box variable from a scene that I am not actually having the learner visit.

Am I missing something? Is there a way to update those survey quiz entry boxes (and their underlying variable values) so that the learner does not have to visit those slides in a different scene that is not on the main path?
