Uploading SCORM files into my Rise 360 account

Hi everyone, how can I upload SCORM files into my Rise 360 account?

I see the button "Create New", but I don't want to create a course, I want to upload SCORM files (with Rise content) to my Rise account so I can edit those Rise modules.

I can also create new folders, but I can't upload SCORM files into them.

    Hi Raymond,

It's technically not possible to import and convert a published SCORM Zip file and turn it into an editable Rise course.

  • thanks Karl!

But what I don't understand, is that the Rise modules (which have been built by one of our vendors), that vendor directly uploads those Rise modules on to my web-based Rise account. And that's where I can edit them.

But how come I can't upload them myself? I have them as SCORM files.

      Hi Raymond,

If you have an Articulate 360 Team type account, any other person that also has an Articulate 360 Team type account, can either:

      • Email you an editable copy of a Rise course created by them
      • Make you a collaborator on a Rise course created by them

You will be able to edit both of those courses.

A SCORM file however is something completely different.

Once you have completed creating your Rise course, you need to publish your course, The output of the publish process is a SCORM file, in a ZIP file format. The SCORM file is uploaded to your LMS where students can access the course.

If someone sent you a SCORM ZIP file, as I originally stated, that SCORM ZIP file cannot be imported into Rise and cannot be edited.

I have this exact dilemma - did you find any solution? Thank you.
