use variables to navigate

So, if I'm understanding this correctly. I start on the menu slide, then I click on something, and it takes me to a layer. In that layer I click on something, and it jumps to a scene (can be one slide). When the scene is done you want to jump back to the menu and have me pick a different layer? 

Just put a trigger to jump back to the menu slide in the last slide of each scene.

But if you absolutely have good reasons to go to the layer first, then the content, you can check out Scene 2.
