Using snapinsta.ink to Source Original Quality Social Media Visuals for Storyline and Rise Courses
I wanted to share a practical asset sourcing tip that has improved my eLearning development workflow in Articulate Storyline and Rise. Many instructional designers use real world social media content as visual examples inside their courses, particularly when building modules around digital literacy, social media awareness, or content marketing topics. The challenge is that Instagram provides no built in export option which means previously published photos and videos are inaccessible in original resolution once the local file is deleted. Low quality screenshots simply do not hold up inside Storyline slide layouts or Rise image blocks at full screen display size. I have been using snapinsta.ink as a browser based solution that retrieves original quality files from public Instagram post URLs with no installation required. The retrieved files import cleanly into Storyline and Rise without any resolution issues. Has anyone else found useful workflows for sourcing original quality social media assets for use inside Articulate courses.

I would be very worried about copyright and licensing issues in your situation.
I’ve had the same issue with low-resolution social media images, especially when they’re used in full-screen Storyline slides. Getting the original-quality file definitely makes the final course look much cleaner. I’d just make sure the content is licensed or that permission has been obtained before using someone else’s post in a course.
