UX/UI for Storyline 360 Developers

I've been actively using Storyline 360 and am eager to enhance my projects by incorporating UX/UI principles. Specifically, I'm looking for insights on strategic placement of elements like the next button, encouraging learner actions, and effective use of colors for guidance.
If you have any recommendations for courses, articles, or tutorials that delve into these aspects, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

UX/UI contribute far less to learner success than pedagogical principles.
First assimilate what you can from: Maryellen Weimar, Nancy Duarte, Garr Reynolds, and Mayer and Clark (newest editions)
