Video control features
Hello,
I was wondering if there was a way to ensure that a video can only be played/paused by using the player controls and not by touching/clicking on the actual content?
Some users think, because the cursor changes from arrow to hand, that the video is a link, so when they click on it and the playback pauses but does nothing else, they think the 'link' is broken.
Any ideas are appreciated.
Thank you,

You could place a transparent shape over the video.

This worked, thank you very much!

Hi Joe,
It was already set to automatically and I was still able to play/pause the video using the slide. But you did give me the idea that if I set it to 'when clicked' then the user will realise it's a video and not a link when they click on it.
Thank you!
Hello Rehmat,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can change the 'Play Video' option to automatically instead to prevent the learners from starting the video by clicking on it.
Using the 'automatically' option will prevent learners from playing or stopping the video on the slide, which only the video controls and the player will be able to do.
Let me know if this works for you!
