In Storyline 360, authors can use the conditional seekbar, to restrict fast-forwarding without hiding the control bar. Here's how:

1. Open your player properties by going to the Home tab on the Storyline ribbon and clicking Player.
2. Ensure you're using the Modern player style, as the conditional seekbar is exclusive to this style.
3. Click Features on the player properties ribbon.
4. Mark the Seekbar box near the bottom of the window, then use the corresponding drop-down list to choose Allow drag after completion.
5. Click OK to save your changes and close the player properties.

Please keep in mind that the conditional seekbar feature is exclusive to the modern player style, from Storyline 360. While you can open, edit, and publish .story files that use this feature in Storyline 3, the conditional seekbar itself will not appear in Storyline 3, as the player returns to the classic style in that version.

In your original post, you referred to using Storyline 3. However, I noticed your e-mail address is occupying a seat on an active subscription to Articulate 360. This means you do have access to Storyline 360, where this feature is available. If you need help with downloading, and accessing Storyline 360 on your machine, please refer to this user guide.
