Video de la content library 360
Hello GUICHARD! 🎉
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Build 3.96.33815.0, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the bugs we’ve fixed is:
- Text-to-speech audio on the base slide stops the video on the slide layer from playing.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help.
Hi GUICHARD!
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Content Library videos added to your Storyline course!
It would be easier to troubleshoot this behavior if we could see a copy of the .story file you've been working with. Do you mind sharing that here in the discussion or privately through a support case? We'll delete it from our system as soon as we're finished!
In the meantime, a helpful first step is to ensure you are working locally, as working off of a network or shared drive may cause erratic behavior while authoring.

Bonjour Steven
Je viens d’extraire la diapositive qui pose problème.
Je l’ai installé en local sur le disque C :
J’ai le même résultat ; la vidéo ne se lance pas.
Voici en pièce jointe la diapositive qui pose problème.
Bonne journée.

I think the problem is that since layer content does not load until it is shown, the video is not pre-loaded and therefore not ready to autoplay when displayed. Hence, you get a static frame.
Try this approach (attached). It "preloads" the layer by showing it quickly and immediately hiding it if a variable (once) is true. Then the variable is set to false. On the base slide, your original show layer trigger is then set to fire upon variable change (variable: once). The preloading and variable change gives enough time to get the video ready for autoplay.

Bonjour Nathan

Hello GUICHARD,
Thanks for sharing your file with us!You are experiencing a possible bug where text to speech audio on the base slide is stopping the video on the slide layer from playing.
While I share this with our team, I’d like to suggest the following options:1. Move the text-to-speech file that is currently on the base slide just slightly away from the start of the slide. This will allow the video on your slide layer to play as expected.
2. You can have learners click on the video to have it begin to play as desired.
Here is a quick Peek where I walk you through both options.
I have notified our team about what you are experiencing. We’ll be sure to update this thread with news of a fix in the future!- GUICHARD9 months agoCommunity Member
