video stopping at the end of the timeline on one slide but not the next one
Okay, not sure what is happening here.
On the first slide the video stops when the timeline ends. the video files is longer than the action on the slide but I'm not worried about that.

On the first slide, the video is slightly longer than the timeline duration (the video is 6 seconds, while the timeline is 5.75 seconds). If the video were significantly longer, or if the timeline were shorter, the video would continue playing past the end of the timeline just as it does on the second slide. The 0.25-second difference is barely noticeable, so visually it appears as though the video stops when the timeline ends, whereas in reality the video is simply almost the same length as the timeline.
The video timeline is independent, so it will always run regardless of the slide timeline length, unless it is paused or stopped via the video interface, or the timeline itself is paused at any point before it reaches the end.
