Videos quality

Hello everyone,

I'm contacting you about a training course I've developed with storyline 3.
After publication the videos are very blurred despite the adaptation of screen and video sizes.
Could you help me find the right configuration to get a quality result?
The basic videos are of very good quality;
Thank you in advance for your help.

  • Hi HassinaBoura756 to publish a Storyline file whilst maintaining the quality of your video files, you need to select Compression: None from the Options tab when you have your video selected. You will need to do this for each video.

    Videos with this setting will ignore any publish compression settings and will not be compressed again maintaining original quality.

    Note: This feature is only available for MP4 videos created with baseline, main, or high profiles (e.g H.264). All other video files will be compressed when published.

  • One word of caution when removing compression on videos:  If publishing to SCORM, the file size may be too large.  It may be an acceptable size for the LMS, but it may also create bandwidth issues if you have a large number of users accessing the system.

      Good point. This option should only be used when you have already compressed the videos using another tool and are wanting to avoid double compression of the video.
