Weird bug when replacing images using the Media Library
Just had the weirdest bug trying to use the Media Library. Image on disk i updated. In the Media Library it shows as 'The original file is newer'. Reimporting it then. And then the image name someho...
This is STILL a critical issue. Keeps happening to me with audio files. Exactly what Math reported 10 months ago. Extremely frustrating this hasn't been addressed. Makes Media Library pretty much useless.

Sorry to hear that you ran into this behavior. The bug described in this thread specifically affects image files, and I'd like to test to confirm if it extends to audio/video files as well.
Would you be willing to make a quick Peek 360 recording of the behavior you're seeing? Once we have more details regarding the behavior, I'll test to verify if it's a bug and share the findings with our product team.
