Where to find audio file name?
Hi Sagar!
We were seeing an issue in Storyline 360 where the audio file name didn't appear in the timeline, but we fixed that error in update 14.
Are you on the latest update of Storyline 360? To check, click the Help tab, then click About Storyline. You should see 3.15.15453.0 in the bottom-right corner.

Hi Alyssa.
Can you shed any light on why the change was made so that the audio file name does not appear when hovering over an audio file in the timeline? Instead of the actual file name like we used to see, we now see an Articulate-generated object ID number. (see screen grab below).
We have many audio files on a single slide, and have always carefully named our audio files so that we can quickly identify each one when working in the timeline ("Steve1" and "Sally2" et cetera). With just random numbers appearing now on hover, we can't quickly tell which file is which. I know we can modify the object description over on the left in the object list, but that is an additional step that adds up when you have many audio files on each of many slides.
Thanks for any insights.

Hi there, Chris! I'm sorry you're seeing those random file names. In my own file, when I hover over audio in the timeline, I'm seeing my original file name. Let me grab some details to help find the discrepancy:
- Can you confirm what version of Storyline you’re using? Go to Help > About Storyline.
- What format are the audio files in when you insert them from your desktop?
