Why does the Undo function just not work?
I had two separate objects of text in Storyline. One just disappeared, and no matter how many times I undo, it doesn't come back. It just marks every single X or Y movement of the other text object--every iota (this is not how an undo function should work). Welp, guess I have recreate just as usual.
Anyone else have a similar issue with the undo function? Keep in mind my screens are littered with screenshots and objects. It's not just a clean slate with two or three objects.

Hi EdwardAgadja170,
Thanks for reaching out!
Can you please confirm if you're working locally and if this happens when you import your slides into a new Storyline file? If this happens with a brand new file, you can try a Storyline repair. I'd also be helpful to see a screen recording of the issue. You can share that her or privately in a support case.

Hi I've been having a similar issue since I started using Storyline. Sometimes when I press undo it will undo certain actions but not everything. And that one object or action will stay the same and unhanged. For example, I accidentally transformed an icon object within a shape group. When I pressed undo, the shape reverted but the icon object within the shape stayed distorted when that should have reverted back as well. So the only way to fix was to ungroup, remove that icon completely and add it back in and make a new group along with a new state since that got deleted when I deleted the group.

You can remove objects from a group and add new objects to groups without ungrouping has been available for a while.

Undo hit and miss always has been and only goes back 20 steps. I am sure Articulate are aware.
I only wanted to say that for groups you no longer have to destroy them to fix issues.

I was only trying to go back one step and it didn't do that. I just find that very odd that Articulate does that sometimes. So regardless, I still need to delete that object and replace it or try to transform it back.
