Chiming in to add my request to the pile. We always need to provide our content in multiple languages and in my opinion maintaining all of the content in a separate Word doc is a huge pain and major time suck.

I'd like to cast another vote for a built-in word counter; it is a much-needed feature. Articulate staff, do you have any timeline on when we should expect to see it? Thanks!

We need a word count feature as well. It's been 5 years. Please prioritize this. Thank you.

We would too have this built-in word counter
- The Thor Melicher suggestion works for us
HEROWORDCOUNT is free + for Rise 360 and Storyline.
Here's what you do:
- Export your XLIFF file.
- Download and run the free app from the Microsoft Store:
https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/herowordcount/9ND6JRMKF74Q?hl=en-us&gl=us - Select your files and then get the word count.

Export your course as PDF.
Convert the PDF to a Word document.
Do a word count using the Word function.
