The 70s Threw Up on My Demo
People all over the world… join hands, click a few buttons, and get on board with the O'Jays. While I would have called their sound "Philly Soul" or R&B, they are in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, so they qualify as a "rock" band to me.
My inspiration for this demo came about 30 minutes before I read the challenge description on Saturday. I was filling up my car at the gas station, and the song Love Train was playing on the station loud speakers. You could see people dancing while they cleaned their windshields.
The thing that took the most time for me was figuring out how to layer the background soundtrack with the slide audio for their gold records. I know I go overboard with audio, but this demo refused to sit quietly in the corner.
And maybe they are not a traditional L&D team, but they are good at "on boarding". Seriously, if you're not dancing while you're looking at this...check your pulse?
