Make Yourself Known
Hi everyone, my name's Jonathan. I'm a long-time member of the ELH Community, and last year I became a Director of New Leaf Technologies, the exclusive Articulate reseller for Africa. I also do contract and freelance work.
I'm a Learning Experience Designer who blends Storyline, Rise and JavaScript to create bespoke experiences. Over the years, I've spoken at DevLearn, CORE4, Learning Indaba, and World of Learning, but I enjoy speaking at Articulate events the most. DavidAnderson gave me my first big break in Manchester, back in 2019!
I enjoy reading, movies, travelling, music festivals, going to the gym, and - of course - the E-Learning Heroes Challenges! But I'm on a little sabbatical while I complete a big project and prepare for my session at Articuland London next month.
I live in the UK, in a town called Stourbridge, in the West Midlands. I have been married to my wife, Katy, since 2009, and we have two kids - Matilda (15) and Henry (11). In April we took a dream trip to Japan... and I've wanted to go back ever since.
The demos I share publicly tend to be 'just for fun' and will often contain a Dad Joke. But the lessons I've learned from tinkering with the software over the years have helped me become a better, faster and more efficient designer. As I'm fond of saying, "Every day's a school day."

Funny you shared that picture from the Manchester roadshow because it recently popped up in one of my Photos travel memories. That tour was our last roadshow before the world slowed down.
And to be clear, I didn’t give you your break. You were already an elearning star. We were just lucky enough that you chose the E-Learning Heroes label to record all your amazing work.
