Efficiently Learning Storyline on the Job
I started with Storyline 1. Back then, there weren't as many training tutorials as there are now (Storyline | Articulate - Community ).
I relied on a book (yes, actual printed pages) to look up info about how to use the software. Nowadays, that's a lot easier to do with Articulate's online User Guide (which I still use).
- You can find the Storyline User Guide here: Storyline 360 User Guide | Articulate - Community.
I think the guide and the tutorials are great to familiarize yourself with Storyline. Also, look at examples to know what's possible.
Beyond that, think about what you want to accomplish. A certain type of interaction? Branching? Again, look for examples here in the community for inspiration. Examine the .story files to see if you understand the programming. Then try to do it! If you get stuck, start a new post in the "Discuss Articulate Products" section to get help with the problem.
