Efficiently Learning Storyline on the Job
Hello!
I’ve been working with Storyline for about 3.5 years now (and still learning every day!).
When I first started, the quickest way to learn—especially if you’re part of a team like I was—was to reach out to coworkers who had more experience. Make a list of your questions and try to schedule a one-on-one meeting where you can ask them and get feedback. If your company has internal tutorials, watch those first. They’re usually focused on specific tasks rather than giving a full overview of the software, but they’re a great starting point to help you get the work done.
At my job, we were lucky to have a supportive community, usually organized through team chats or channels, where we could ask questions, troubleshoot, and share experiences. If you have something similar, use it—it’s super helpful! If not, it might be worth suggesting setting one up.
Once you feel more comfortable and independent, that’s a great time to broaden your horizons by watching external tutorials and joining weekly challenges.
I hope my experience helps!
Good luck! 😊
