Let’s Talk Custom Blocks: What Will You Build?
Whether you joined the Design Your Way with Custom Blocks webinar on September 16 or you’re just starting to explore the feature, this thread is for you.
Jump In: Share something you’ve built (or are dreaming up) with Custom Blocks in Rise 360.
✅ You can:
- Post a screenshot or preview link of a Custom Block in action
- Describe an idea or layout you want to try
- Ask for feedback on something you're working on
No polished course needed! This is a space to swap ideas, spark inspiration, and learn from each other.
💡 Not sure where to start? Try one of these:
- A fun “About Me” or team intro block
- A compact visual summary of a long policy
- A simple tutorial or checklist
🎯 Looking for more of a structured prompt?
This week’s ELH Challenge is also focused on Custom Blocks, so if you’re ready to dive deeper, that’s a great next step.
We’ll highlight a few creative or helpful shares from this thread and the challenge in an upcoming community roundup!

I dived right in since I was creating a new course! My favorite custom block is definitely the Simple Process (vertical), but I've used the Key Concept, Bio, and more!
Thank you so much for attending the session today, sharoni22!! I can't wait to see your Custom Block creations!
Excited to see them too, sharoni22 — if you end up creating something cool you should totally share it as an example :)

Hi,
Unfortunately, I was not able to attend the webinar until the end, because I have 2 questions:
- will Custom blocks ever become interactive?
- what's the use of the prompt blocks, since they are not interactive? How do you guys use them?
I already experimented with Custom blocks before the webinar, but did not alter them so much, just using the standard option. I'll see what I can share.
Thank you for the webinar and for the answers to my questions!
Great questions, OpforArticulate. Yes, we are planning to add interactivity to custom blocks! If there is a particular kind of interactivity you want to see, let us know in this quick survey.
Without interactivity, the "prompt" custom block could be used for a moment of internal reflection, or you could add an interactive block below it. A knowledge check block or a flashcard block would pair well with the prompt block!

Here's an example of what I did.
I explain the rules of a small aspect in our health care insurance based on a client's question, at the end there is a Continue button that says "Here's what to do", and I use the custom block to summarize what to answer to the client.Fantastic example, OpforArticulate! Thanks for sharing it!
